Getting to transit should be easy, safe and convenient. The West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee is working on two projects to improve access to key transit hubs in West County:

• Transit access plan, which addresses passenger convenience and safety; access for pedestrians and bicyclists; circulation and parking; and shuttles and other alternatives to driving.
• Wayfinding (signage) plan (with the City of Albany), to help pedestrians and cyclists find the best routes.


Both plans recommend projects and strategies to make it easier to get to transit. We invite West County residents, employees and visitors to review these recommendations and give us your feedback.
